Hi. I’m Callie. I am a mother of 6, wife, entrepreneur, and mental health counselor. I LOVE writing and speaking and am honored to be able to bring you this blog with the help of my friend, Shannon White.
Our family has been through enough in this life to know that living halfway is not the answer for us. We know that sometimes life hands out difficult situations; situations in which it may not make sense to follow a passion or a dream. These situations might make you wonder if you can afford to live for another month or if you should take the next step towards a goal, but Reclaimed is our reminder that living fully is the only way to live.
This business exists to be the visual representation to us that following every dream is not only important, it’s necessary. Our choice to restore a church fully supports the feeling we get when we first started thinking about creating this company. We believe in people. We believe in broken spirits and broken situations. Every piece of barnwood that we restored and utilized is a reminder that we believe all people and all things have a purpose in this life. No matter what location you are visiting, we hope that our Reclaimed vision and feeling is embodied throughout. Our coffee shop, The Book & Bean, is a slower, calmer place to relax and rejuvenate, while our Reclaimed Stage is an atmosphere of family and fun. We believe in seeing the good, everywhere and in everyone.
We hope that the feeling you get within the four walls of our church or our coffee shop helps you to believe in broken beauty, too. Everything and everyone is useful and meaningful and completely necessary. Reclaimed is our reminder that following this motto and that dream, is exactly where we need to be. We hope you feel it, too.
